Originally from the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York, I completed my BFA at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Much of my work is influenced by organic motifs due to spending a childhood outdoors and accompanying my father on veterinary adventures. Always a passionate traveler, I have also studied and worked abroad in Argentina and currently reside in the Basque country, Northern Spain.
Metal craft became a creative outlet for me during my University studies. First I took a class, loved it and began to take classes regularly each semester. I eventually shadowed and studied under the Head of the Department, learning unique techniques for jewelry design. I later went on to freelance in New York city, conceptualizing and fabricating jewelry for fashion companies in retail, private gallery jewelers, as well as individual commissions.
Working for large retailers lead me to realize that I wanted to create my own business. I believe that uniquely designed pieces can be affordable and made from quality materials.
A lot of the work in my shop has been influenced by natural motifs, as well as historical elements. I am happy to make customized pieces as well.
I hope you enjoy wearing my work as much as I enjoy making it!
